Job summary

Alstom Transportation in Bangalore seeks a data analyst with reliability expertise to improve the service reliability of our mobility solutions. You will work with after-sales service, engineering and project management to summarize reports and incidents and drive improvements.

You will manage RAMS data, perform statistical analyses of fleet performance, coordinate with stakeholders, defend Alstom's interests with customers, and deliver RAMS insights to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in statistics and reliability measurement methods.
• 8 years' experience with database management and development tools (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Sense of priorities and structured, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Feed the Train Reliability Data Analysts with service reports to be analyzed.
• Preparing and presenting analyses of service incidents/failures during internal meetings.
• Defending Alstom's interests with stakeholders, including customers.
• Performing statistical analyses to monitor service reliability performance.
• Providing reliability analysis reports for internal teams and customers.
• Ensuring RAMS processes and instructions are followed.
• Collaborating with teams to ensure RAMS demonstration plan compliance.
• Proposing improvements to tools and processes.
• Delivering RAMS analyses compliant with project commitments.
• Challenging RAMS data/results to improve adequacy and consistency.

Youll contribute directly to improving the service reliability performance of our mobility solutions. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (after-sales service, engineering, project management), summarize reports and service incidents/failures encountered on test trains and at our clients, and propose continuous improvement actions.

Youll specifically take care of statistical analysis of fleet performance in service reliability and manage the CMMS database (reliability part) but also coordinate with different stakeholders.
