At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high‑speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full‑time Train Reliability Data Analyst in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your data analysis and reliability expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside committed and collaborative teammates.

You’ll contribute directly to improving the service reliability performance of our mobility solutions. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (after‑sales service, engineering, project management), summarize reports and service incidents/failures encountered on test trains and at our clients, and propose continuous improvement actions.

You’ll specifically take care of statistical analysis of fleet performance in service reliability and manage the CMMS database (reliability part) but also coordinate with different stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Feeding the Train Reliability Data Analysts with service reports to be analyzed.
  • Preparing and presenting analyses of service incidents/failures during internal monitoring meetings.
  • Defending Alstom's interests with stakeholders, including customers.
  • Performing statistical analyses to monitor service reliability performance.
  • Providing reliability analysis reports for internal teams and customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with RAM Métier processes and instructions.
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure service reliability demonstration plan compliance.
  • Proposing continuous improvement actions to optimize tools and processes.
  • Delivering RAMS analyses compliant with QCD work package commitments.
  • Proactively challenging RAMS data/results to enhance adequacy and consistency.
  • Seeking technical understanding of Alstom products to better assess performance and improvement areas.
All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • General technical and functional knowledge in the railway field (rolling stock). Training in RAMS competency will be provided.
  • Skills in statistics and reliability measurement methods.
  • 8 years' experience or understanding of database management and development tools (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer and product orientation.
  • Ability to structure and adopt practical approaches.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Sense of priorities.
  • Structured and organized with a hands‑on approach.
Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life‑long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long‑term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with passionate and innovative teams who share a common vision
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and skilled colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects shaping the future of mobility
  • Utilize our flexible and collaborative working environment
  • Steer your career in the direction you choose across functions

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
