Job summary

Agilent Technologies (International) seeks a Senior Trade Compliance Lead to manage the COE responsible for classification, trade order hold management, and shipment delay advisories. You will define export control classifications, support CCATS and commodity jurisdiction submissions, and implement risk-based mitigation programs.

The role requires a decade of experience with 3–5 years in team leadership, with a background in Electrical Engineering, Biotechnology, or International Business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee COE operations for classification, order hold, and shipment delay advisory.
• Define ECCN and HTS classifications and support CCATS and jurisdiction submissions.
• Conduct risk assessments and design mitigation programs.
• Ensure compliance with export/import regulations and close gaps with policy teams.
• Provide regulatory guidance to stakeholders and support audits/regulatory inquiries.
• Lead team development and maintain high engagement; report performance to Trade management.
• Audit internal trade processes and coordinate with partners to streamline operations.
• Drive process improvements and cross-functional projects.

Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.comManaging trade compliance team: Oversee all operational activities within COE for Classification, Trade Order Hold Management & Shipment Delay Advisory Team and develop the strategies that help deliver business objectives.Excellent understanding in defining Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and WW export controls, with the ability to seek support from technical staff when needed. As well as thorough understanding of CCATS & commodity Jurisdiction submission and reporting.Develop and execute risk assessments. Design mitigation strategies and programs to address key risksEnsure compliance to all export/import regulatory requirement, identify gaps and work with the process and policy team to close them.Provide regulatory consultation and communication to stakeholders in various business functions, training where needed and assist with trade compliance audits and government inquiries/responses, partnering with government licensing officers and regulators to resolve regulatory matters where directed.Keep the engagement level in the team high.
