Job Summary

We are looking for a first-principles thinker to drive high-impact data and operational programs across Tracxn's core data production units.

This is a Technical Program Management role at the intersection of data, technology, operations, and execution. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to identify complex data production problems, design scalable solutions, and drive end-to-end implementation.

The ideal candidate brings intellectual depth and rigour: someone who goes beyond surface-level fixes, researches problems thoroughly, and thinks carefully before acting.

Hands‑on software development is not required; however, candidates should be comfortable understanding technical systems, automation workflows, and engineering trade‑offs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Execution

• Own and drive the data strategy for assigned data production units, identifying coverage gaps, quality issues, and scalability bottlenecks.
• Translate business and client data requirements into clear, actionable roadmaps.
• Benchmark Tracxn's data assets against industry standards to identify improvement areas and strategic opportunities.
• Define success metrics and monitor outcomes to evaluate the impact of data initiatives and process improvements.

Problem Solving & Implementation

• Break down complex, unstructured data problems into clear problem statements and solution blueprints.
• Design scalable processes, operating models, and automation solutions for complex data production challenges.
• Drive implementation of these solutions to improve data quality, coverage, throughput, and operational efficiency.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate data strategy into scalable processes and align on data definitions, standards, and delivery requirements.
• Own cross‑functional programs from problem definition through implementation, aligning stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams.
• Communicate program progress, key outcomes, and metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

Must‑Have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a Tier‑1 institution (IITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent).
• Strong first‑principles problem‑solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems and design practical, scalable solutions.
• 58 years of experience in data strategy, data operations, analytics, business strategy, or other analytical, technology‑driven, or data‑adjacent roles.
• Comfortable working at the intersection of data and technology, with the ability to understand technical systems, system design, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

• Prior experience with B2B data platforms, market intelligence, or private company data.
• Experience with automation, workflow orchestration, RPA tools, low‑code platforms, or similar technologies.
