Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced VMware Workspace ONE Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of Workspace ONE UEM/Access environments in India. You will drive security, compliance, and modernization, while guiding cross-functional teams through complex deployments.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Workspace ONE platforms, Azure ADEntra ID integration, PKI and MFA, and the ability to mentor L1/L2 engineers.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience with VMware Workspace ONE and EMM.
• Strong expertise in Workspace ONE UEM, Access, and modern endpoint management.
• Experience architecting and leading enterprise Workspace ONE deployments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SME and escalation point for VMware Workspace ONE solutions.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Workspace ONE UEM and Access environments.
• Lead device lifecycle management across iOS, Android Enterprise, Windows 10/11, and macOS.
• Define and implement security, compliance, conditional access, and Zero Trust mobility strategies.
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Drive integration with Azure AD, Active Directory, SSO, PKI, MFA, and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex MDM, enrollment, and authentication issues.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and support governance activities.

We are looking for an experienced VMware Workspace ONE Engineer with 8–10 years of overall experience and strong expertise in Workspace ONE UEM, Workspace ONE Access, Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), and Modern Endpoint Management. The role will serve as the technical lead for Workspace ONE platforms, driving architecture, implementation, operational excellence, security compliance, and complex issue resolution

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical SME and escalation point for VMware Workspace ONE solutions. Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Workspace ONE UEM and Workspace ONE Access environments. Lead device lifecycle management across iOS, Android Enterprise, Windows 10/11, and macOS platforms. Define and implement security, compliance, conditional access, and Zero Trust mobility strategies. Lead Workspace ONE platform upgrades, migrations, optimizations, and modernization initiatives. Drive integration with Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory, SSO, PKI, MFA, and enterprise security solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex MDM, application deployment, enrollment, and authentication issues. Develop architecture documents, SOPs, runbooks, and operational standards. Lead incident, problem, and change management activities. Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance across support teams. Collaborate with clients, security teams, and infrastructure teams for solution design and governance. Support audits, compliance reviews, and enterprise mobility governance initiatives
