Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT and ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 5-8 years of QA experience with strong TOSCA automation expertise.
• Experience in designing automation frameworks, API and cloud testing in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TOSCA and automate web/API/back-end tests.
• Plan test strategies and contribute to framework design for automation.

Role: Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in TOSCA
• Automation and automation framework design. The ideal candidate should possess strong
• Testing fundamentals, cloud testing exposure, and experience working in Agile development environments.
• The role involves designing and implementing automation frameworks, executing end-to-end test strategies, and ensuring high product quality across cloud and enterprise applications.
• Senior QA engineers typically design automated testing strategies, maintain test frameworks, and collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TOSCA. Develop and execute automated test cases for web, API, and backend systems.
• Participate in test strategy planning and framework design for automation.
• Perform API testing, database validation, and integration testing. Ensure quality across cloud environments (AWS / Azure).
• Collaborate with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Track defects and test progress using JIRA or other test management tools.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and automation failures. Contribute to continuous integration and automated testing pipelines.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive best practices in testing. QA engineers typically design test cases, execute automated tests, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to improve software quality.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA Automation
• Experience in automation framework design and architecture Strong software testing fundamentals (STLC, test design techniques)
• Experience with API testing and database testing Proficiency in Agile testing practices Experience using JIRA or similar test management tools

Additional Skills

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud testing
• Exposure to other automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / similar)

Optional Responsibilities

• Perform device-level validation in lab environments when required to ensure proper integration between automotive devices and backend systems.
• Validate telemetry data sent from devices to cloud platforms and ensure accuracy of data displayed in applications.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to analyze device behavior and troubleshoot integration issues.

Domain Experience (Preferred)

• Experience in Automotive or connected device platforms
• Experience testing IoT systems, vehicle software, or device integrations
