Qualifications

• Strong TIG welding skills on carbon steel and stainless steel, with ability to read welding symbols and relate to pressure vessel fabrication.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures, plus basic measurement and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, gas handling, PPE use, and ISO/OHSAS standards in fabrication.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting to identify defects and drive process improvements.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate with engineers and shop floor staff.
• ITI/Diploma in Welding or equivalent, with relevant ASME or industry certifications being highly beneficial.
• Experience in industrial gas, cryogenic equipment, or related fabrication is advantageous.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site TIG Welder role based at INCRYO SYSTEMS' facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. The TIG Welder will perform precision welding on cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, and related components, following engineering drawings, welding procedures, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include setting up welding equipment, preparing and aligning materials, executing TIG welds on various metals, and inspecting welds for quality and compliance with ASME and company specifications. The role involves collaborating with engineers and fabrication teams, maintaining tools and equipment, documenting work as required, and adhering to all workplace safety and quality control processes. The TIG Welder will also support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training and knowledge sharing within the fabrication team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong technical welding skills, including TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel, interpretation of welding symbols, and familiarity with pressure vessel or tank fabrication.
• Candidates should possess skills in reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures, as well as basic measurement and quality inspection techniques.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of industrial safety practices, safe handling of gases and equipment, use of PPE, and adherence to ISO and OHSAS standards in a fabrication environment.
• Candidates should possess good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify welding defects, propose corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in processes.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with engineers, supervisors, and fellow welders on the shop floor.
• Relevant qualifications such as ITI / Diploma in Welding or Fabrication, or equivalent vocational training, along with industry-recognized welding certifications (e.g., ASME or similar) are highly beneficial.
