Thanu Associates Looking for IT Administrator at Kolar, Karnataka

Job Overview: The position requires knowledge of desktop operating system deployment processes, image updates, IA patches, and design and administration of Microsoft OS and Android mobile device management. The position requires basic knowledge of typical ERP-based systems for the perspective of operational upkeep of the ERP system. This position will perform system scanning and remediation of discovered issues via automation tools for identifying and remedying malware and virus issues. The role is for a full-time resource as a member of our team providing both consultative and direct end-user support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Laptop OS image maintenance – Must be experienced in resolving customer issues across a range of software commonly found in an Enterprise Network.
2. Windows 10 Image and/or Deployment Knowledge – Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating system, deployment practices, and new capabilities supporting provisioning, patching, and overall management of Win 10 devices.
3. Mobile Device Management – Knowledge of mobile device deployments and reporting/scan capabilities.
4. Laptop and Mobile support experience – Highly skilled troubleshooting OS level stability and performance issues on laptop/mobile equipment.
5. Physical site deployment planning – Must be experienced in site planning and solutions for initial hardware release, site research, customer collaboration, and ground to ceiling solution implementation.
6. Strong scripting skills using VBScript and/or PowerShell and/or Java.
7. Manage data storage, access, backup, and retrieval processes for the company’s data (commercial, engineering, and financial).
8. Understand Group Policy Objects (GPO), Local Policy Objects (LPO), and their impact on system configuration.
9. Experience with setting up, configuring, and managing mail servers and clients.
10. Basic understanding and exposure to Web servers, deployment methodologies, and tools like WordPress.
11. Experience using diagnostic tools like Sysinternals and other enterprise toolsets to monitor end-user experience and application performance.
12. Fundamental understanding of security components & technologies such as firewalls and anti-virus policies.
13. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
14. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, IPSec, and thin/thick/web application architectures.
15. Working knowledge of current Microsoft SQL Server and Windows 2016/2019 Server.
16. Coordination with IT services vendors on behalf of the company for procurement, support services, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma / Graduate in Electronics/IT/CS.
2. Extensive IT and Image related experience will be considered as alternative qualification.
3. Experience with Windows OS deployment and maintenance.
4. Working knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
5. Experience with ERP solutions deployment and maintenance.
6. 5+ years’ experience administering and using deployment toolsets for software deployment and maintenance in enterprise-level environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹10,210.18 – ₹37,898.28 per month
