Primary Purpose of the Role

Within the matrix organization of the Engineering Competence Center, Devops engineer to build the next generation DevOps solution for our multi-disciplinary domain applications that meet requirements coming from a Business Lines (B/L), with the adequate quality and maturity level, within schedule and budget. We are looking for a team played who evangelize DevOps best practices and security standards.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Design, automate and support CI/CD stack, cloud infrastructure, monitoring & logging

Work with developers & partners to design and implement delivery pipeline and related solutions

Troubleshoot production issues and co-ordinate with engineering teams to streamline code deployments

Apply GIT Devops best practices and standards

Design & Develop integrated build pipelines using CI workflows (ex. Jenkins/Azure Devops).

Create application monitoring processes to proactively identify issues and scales of cloud environment

Collaborate with product teams to consistently deliver quality software to end users/customers.

Skills Required

Mandatory Skills:
Have a passion for automating production systems by creating tools using Python/ Java/ Bash.

Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker or other container orchestration framework

Experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Experience managing infrastructure in cloud mainly AWS/Azure/GCP.

Experience in Infra deployment using IaC( terraform/Ansible)

Strong expertise in troubleshooting complex production issues

Expert understanding of Unix/Linux based operating system

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.

The candidate should be adapt at prioritizing multiple issues in a high pressure environment

Should be able to understand complex architectures and be comfortable working with multiple teams

Ability to conduct performance analysis and troubleshoot large scale distributed systems

Should be highly proactive with a keen focus on improving uptime availability of our mission-critical services

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment while continuously evaluating emerging technologies

The position requires solid knowledge of secure coding practices and experience with the open source technologies

Monitor production, staging, test and development environments for a myriad of applications in an agile and dynamic organization.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication or equivalent
