Job summary

TRIGO India is seeking a Test Engineer – Aircraft Systems to join the aerospace engineering team in Bengaluru. You will work on complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical aircraft systems, developing test plans, configuring rigs, and executing comprehensive testing programs.

You will analyze data, prepare technical reports, and conduct root-cause analyses while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in aerospace or high-reliability environments preferred.
• Hands-on with hydraulic, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases aligned with RTCA DO-160 requirements.
• Set up test rigs, configurations, and environments for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Perform tests (system/integration/regression/performance) and analyze results; document RCA and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute testing activities and manage priorities.

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer – Aircraft Systems to join our aerospace engineering team in Bengaluru. Responsibilities

Test Planning & Setup

• Develop detailed test plans and test cases aligned with RTCA DO-160 requirements.
• Set up and configure test rigs, equipment, and test environments for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot test setup issues and optimize testing procedures.

Test Execution & Analysis

• Perform system, integration, regression and performance testing.
• Analyze test data and performance parameters.
• Prepare detailed technical test reports and documentation.
• Investigate test failures, anomalies and deviations.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify corrective actions.
• Document technical issues and engineering solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to plan and execute testing activities.
• Manage multiple testing activities and priorities in a dynamic engineering environment

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE/IME) or related disciplines.
• Experience in aerospace or other high-reliability engineering environments will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of fluid mechanics, material properties, gear transmissions, bearings and dynamic seals.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and aerospace testing standards.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microsoft Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Training/certification in RTCA DO-160.
• Hands-on experience with UG / Siemens NX or AutoCAD.
• Experience with MATLAB for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience in aerospace qualification, validation or performance testing.
