Job summary

EY seeks a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to ensure software quality through automated and manual testing across release cycles. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests and test data to validate frontend and backend functionality.

Collaborating with development, product, and business teams, you will drive test strategy, execute SIT and end-to-end tests, analyse results, and contribute to continuous quality improvements in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience testing modern web applications, preferably React-based applications.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery and frequent release cycles.

Responsibilities

Job Description – QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated QA Automation Engineer responsible for ensuring software quality through automated testing, integration testing, regression testing, and release validation. while also supporting manual testing activities as needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

• 5- 10 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Experience testing modern web applications, preferably React-based applications.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery and frequent release cycles.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Performance Testing, React.js, Python & Django, Security Testing, Accessibility Testing, Test Management Tools, Experience testing enterprise-scale applications

• A highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with strong automation expertise and a quality-first mindset. The candidate should be capable of independently driving automation strategy, framework development, API and integration testing, regression testing, and release validation, while also contributing to manual and exploratory testing activities when required.
