Job summary

Technavious in Mumbai is seeking an Electrical Engineer (T&C) to lead the testing, commissioning, and project management of electrical infrastructure in data centres. You will collaborate with project and client teams to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 3–5 years' experience in data centre testing/commissioning, with knowledge of IEEE, TIA and local codes. On-site work in Mumbai is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of data centre projects.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and regulations, including IEEE, TIA and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of electrical systems in data centres, covering all levels from L1 to L7.
• Ensure that all electrical systems meet the required specifications and performance standards.
• Prepare detailed testing and commissioning documentation, including test plans, procedures and reports.
• Identify and resolve issues during the testing and commissioning phases to ensure optimal system performance.
• Work closely with project managers, design engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and system reliability.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, address concerns and deliver satisfactory outcomes
