Required Experience:

• In-depth experience with Java 8 and above
• Functional testing experience and hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks like Cucumber and Selenium
• Knowledge of testing tools for Java and JavaScript
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
• Proven track record in the software testing lifecycle and agile/iterative environments (DevOps, SCRUM, TDD)

Highly Valued Skills:

• Experience with TDD frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL
• Ability to support QA processes and schedules
• Experience working within Agile & DevOps frameworks
• Collaborating with test managers to plan release schedules

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role: To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improving testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies
• Create and execute automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools
• Analyze requirements and participate in design discussions to develop acceptance criteria
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and support resolution
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of quality and knowledge sharing
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to technical communities
