Job summary

Capgemini in Mumbai is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain automated web tests using TestComplete and JavaScript. You will design robust automation frameworks, implement reusable components, and perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.

You will analyze results, identify defects with development teams, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and document tests and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with TestComplete for web application automation.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of test design techniques and defect management processes.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem solving skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
