Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. is seeking a skilled RF/microwave test engineer to support customer tickets, installation, commissioning, and FAT/SAT activities in Bengaluru.

You will collect requirements, perform RCA, provide calibration, training, and documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders while engaging customers independently. You will work with RF/microwave test instruments, digital protocols, and be involved in Radar/EW, Satellite, MILCOM/Avionics, and Automotive segments where

Qualifications

• Experience with RF/microwave test and measurement instruments.
• Strong root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving abilities.
• Programming skills in Python or C#, with SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Tickets, visit and resolve ATE issues within specified timelines (lowest TAT).
• Collect user requirements & Feedback, RCA, VAN, VSA, VSG Test Instrument & Digital interface Support.
• Rack Installation & Commissioning, support FAT & SAT.
• Support Customer Trainings, System Documentation, Calibration & verification.
• Engage with internal & external stakeholders to achieve goals and build rapport.
• Engage customers independently; handle Radar/EW, Satellite, MILCOM/Avionics, Automotive domains preferred.

Job description

• Achieve goals by assessing current client needs and collaborating with internal & external stakeholders
• Ability to engage and build strong rapport and should be able to engage customers independently Possess strong RF/Microwave test & measurement instrument experience, Digital protocols
• Improve on Programming/scripting skills - Python/C# & SQL
• Sound knowledge of Radar/EW and Satellite, MILCOM/Avionics, Automotive segment is highly preferred
• Other duties or tasks as assigned on an-as needed basis
