Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. in Bengaluru seeks a hands-on RF/microwave support engineer to troubleshoot and resolve ATE issues, install racks, and assist with FAT/SAT. You will collect user requirements, perform RCA, and support VAN, VSA, VSG instruments and digital interfaces.

The role emphasizes customer training, documentation, calibration, and verification, with collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Strong RF knowledge and programming ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Collect user requirements and feedback; perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Support VAN, VSA, VSG test instruments and digital interfaces.
• Rack installation and commissioning; support FAT and SAT.
• Provide customer trainings, system documentation, calibration and verification.

Responsibilities

• Support customer tickets and resolve ATE issues within timelines.

• Develop and improve scripting skills (Python/C#, SQL).
• Maintain strong rapport with customers and independent engagement.

Job description

• Support Customer Tickets, Visit & resolve ATE issues within specified timelines (lowest TAT).
• Collect user requirements & Feedback, Root cause Analysis (RCA), VAN, VSA, VSG Test Instrument & Digital interface Support.
• Rack Installation & Commissioning, support FAT & SAT.
• Support Customer Trainings, System Documentation, Calibration & verification
• Achieve goals by assessing current client needs and collaborating with internal & external stakeholders
• Ability to engage and build strong rapport and should be able to engage customers independently Possess strong RF/Microwave test & measurement instrument experience, Digital protocols
• Improve on Programming/scripting skills - Python/C# & SQL
• Sound knowledge of Radar/EW and Satellite, MILCOM/Avionics, Automotive segment is highly preferred
• Other duties or tasks as assigned on an-as needed basis
