Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a Mobile & Web Test Automation Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to design and implement scalable automation frameworks. You will automate mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications using Python/Java, Appium, Selenium, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

The role demands strong debugging and cross-platform testing skills on real devices and emulators. Proficiency in BDD (Cucumber/Behave), Gherkin, and experience with Git/GitHub is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and/or Java for test automation.
• Expertise in mobile automation using Appium for Android and iOS.
• Experience with Android UIAutomator2 and iOS XCUITest.
• Hands-on experience in web automation using Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience developing scalable automation frameworks using Pytest/Unittest and Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave using Gherkin.
• Strong understanding of mobile element identification using XPath, Accessibility ID, ID, and Class Name.
• Experience with advanced gesture handling, hybrid app testing, WebView handling, and context switching.
• Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Experience testing on Android and iOS devices, including real devices and emulators/simulators.
