Job summary

VisioGen, a leader in AI-powered healthcare solutions, seeks a Test Manager to lead QA across healthcare software streams. You will own testing plans, drive quality benchmarks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.

The role requires extensive healthcare testing experience, ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 knowledge, and strong leadership to mentor QA teams. You will champion testing innovations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in the software industry with testing, predominantly in healthcare.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Leads and engineers, setting clear expectations and guiding their growth.
• Owner of testing deliverables, quality, and timelines.
• Review and input in test plans, test strategy, and road map.
• Oversee testing deliverables to ensure high quality within timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals and team setup.
• Plan and manage project, resources, and staffing decisions.
• Balance technical and managerial duties including budgeting.
• Act as liaison between engineering and management.
• Stay updated on testing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with ISO 13485 including Medical Device Design Controls and SDLC.
• Strong domain knowledge with IEC 62304.
• Understanding of Medical Device QMS and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, CE, FDA).
• Continuously improve test processes and adopt new testing technologies.

As a Test Manager in Software Testing, you will play a critical role in leading and managing multiple quality assurance teams of a particular stream in healthcare. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by overseeing the creation and execution of test plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing effective testing.

What you'll do

• 12+ Years’ experience in the software industry with experience in testing, predominantly in the healthcare domain.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Leads and engineers, setting clear expectations and guiding their professional growth.
• Complete ownership of testing deliverables, quality, and timelines.
• Review and provide inputs in test plans, test strategy, and road map.
• Oversee the testing deliverable and make sure high quality is achieved in stipulated timelines.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand project goals and ensure a comprehensive and competent team setup.
• Responsible for project planning, resource allocation, and team performance.
• Balances technical and managerial responsibilities, including budgeting and staffing decisions.
• Acts as a liaison between engineering teams and management.
• Stay updated on emerging testing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Working experience with ISO 13485 including Medical Device Design Controls and Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong domain knowledge and working experience with SDLC ( IEC 62304).
• Detailed understanding and experience of Medical Device QMS requirements and regulatory requirements including but not limited to ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, CE, and FDA.
• Continuously improve and optimize test processes to enhance software quality.
• Provide leadership in adopting new testing technologies and methodologies.
• Drive product Risk management activities for the medical products.
• Vendor management to fill the SQA teams with the required skill set.
• Plan and arrange required training for skill development of testing teams.
• Ensure cross-functional knowledge sharing across the teams.
• Provide timely updates to management and resolve QA risks/bottlenecks.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in software testing, and quality assurance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in handling multiple test teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Advance ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
• Experience on test automation, performance and load testing.
• Experience in various Software Development Methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and V-model.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
