Job summary

Google Operations Center is seeking a senior QA engineer to design robust test strategies, validate UI/UX across browsers and devices, and support releases. You will collaborate across teams, document defects, and contribute to automation initiatives for web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in automated or manual software testing (Web and/or Mobile apps).
• Strong experience in setting up manual or automated test cases from scratch.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Confluence).
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL) and APIs (Postman) is a strong plus.

Role Overview

In this role, you will ensure software quality through comprehensive test strategy design, defect management, and UI/UX validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from sprint planning to release sign-offs, and utilize automation to enhance testing efficiency for web and mobile platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands on experience with headless CMS like Brightspot, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful OR Drupal
