Job summary

Zebra Technologies in India is seeking a motivated Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web apps and APIs. You will work across product teams to ensure robust quality and scalable testing strategies.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, and QA engineers to create comprehensive test plans, run automated suites, report defects in JIRA, and continuously improve automation processes in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of proven experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python.
• In-depth knowledge of Selenium, Robot Framework, and other API testing frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs and related testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and other software components.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects in our bug tracking system (JIRA).
• Continuously improve our test automation frameworks and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other members of the team.
