Job summary

Cognizant Bengaluru is seeking an experienced test automation professional to help build scalable automation frameworks and contribute to transformation initiatives. The role requires hands-on experience across languages and tools, including Playwright/Selenium, API testing, and CI/CD practices.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in automation, strong coding in Java or Python, and experience with tooling like Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Git, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in testing automation.
• Proficient in Java or Python and one automation tool (Playwright or Selenium).
• Hands-on experience in framework development.
• Willing to learn Playwright with JavaScript and scale up.
• Experience in API testing using SoapUI, Postman and Rest Assured.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Helios.
• Version control with Git, Bitbucket, etc.
