Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED in Maneja, Gujarat seeks an experienced professional to perform laboratory testing for quality assurance of HV products up to 765 kV, including CT, CVT and GC. The role requires hands-on testing, ISO17025 and ISO9001 compliance, and strong English communication.

With 8–10 years in HV product testing and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, you will maintain records, coordinate with production, and uphold safety guidelines in the lab.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree (B. Tech.) in Electrical engineering.
• 8-10 years+ of experience in testing of HV Products.
• Product knowledge of HV Instrument Transformer.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Having knowledge of handling ISO17025 certifications of the laboratory.
• Good presentations skills to handle domestic & overseas customers during FAT.
• Hands on experience of testing Instrument Transformers.
• To maintain ISO9001 requirement of the laboratory.
• To adhere to Hitachi Energy safety guidelines in test laboratories.
• To conduct routine testing of HV Products up to 765 kV ratings (CT, CVT, CC, GC) as per as per defined schedule in coordination with production department.
• To coordinate with cross functional team to maintain flow of testing.
• To plan & execute maintenance activity of test equipment to avoid breakdown.
• Innovative & creative thinking ability.

The Opportunity Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance. Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics. Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications. Maintains records of analysis and tests An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency. Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
