Job summary

Sunbrilo Technology in Pune, India, is seeking a highly experienced Manual QA Tester to ensure software quality across web and mobile platforms. You will design and execute test cases, collaborate with developers, and contribute to agile ceremonies.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on testing experience, strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, and excellent analytical and communication skills to drive quality and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 24 years of hands‑on experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Hands‑on experience with defect‑tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of web application testing and/or mobile application testing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand application functionality.
• Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and retesting activities.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar defect‑tracking tools.
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Perform UI, usability, and cross-browser testing as required.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and review meetings.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to investigate and resolve defects.
• Maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and defect logs.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and support the team in meeting release timelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and sprint reviews.
