Job summary

KnowledgeWorks Global (KGL) in Mumbai is seeking a software QA engineer to perform manual and automated testing, develop automated test cases, and contribute to maintaining the automation frameworks. You will review product designs to craft test scenarios and report defects through the lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on testing with familiarity in at least one OO language, knowledge of SDLC, and strong communication to collaborate with a cross-functional team using Jira, Bugzilla, and SVN.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience required.
• Familiar with mobile and web applications testing.
• Experience with at least one OO language (C++, C#, Java, Python).
• Knowledge of SDLC and defect management practices.

Requirements

Any Graduate

• 2+ years of experience in a hands-on test role.
• Prior hands-on experience with at least one object oriented language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.
• Solid knowledge of software development life cycle.
• Previous experience using source control tools such as SVN.
• Previous experience using bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Solid knowledge of testing and software development practices in mobile and online applications and methodologies, and defect management practices.
• Experience working on collaboration tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
