Project Role : Test Automation Lead

Project Role Description : Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall control, accuracy, and integrity of testing activities by integrating advanced tools and methodologies. The position requires driving innovation in testing approaches, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring that testing is predictive and intelligent. Collaboration with various teams to implement end-to-end quality solutions is a key aspect, along with overseeing the transformation of traditional testing into a streamlined, automated function that supports organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Supported Oracle EBS modules including Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Inventory, Purchasing.
• Provided production support for Manhattan Associates WMS and Oracle EBS-WMS integrations, ensuring timely resolution of interface related issues.
• Coordinated with Oracle Support and Rimini Street to investigate and resolve Oracle seeded issues.
• Provided L1 and L2 support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, ensuring timely incident resolution.
• Gathered and analyzed business requirements by collaborating with business users.
• Developed and customized XML Publisher reports based on business requirements.
• Validated Oracle EBS applications after patching, maintenance, and deployment activities.
• Performed minor Oracle Application Framework (OAF) personalization to support business requirements and worked on support for istore issue.
• Prepared unit testing documents, resolution documentation.
• Utilized ServiceNow, AutoSys, RunMyJobs (RMJ), Flex Deploy, Fisheye, Splunk, and SQL Developer for incident management, job scheduling, monitoring, deployment, and release management.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the adoption of innovative testing tools and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to maintain high performance.
• Monitor and evaluate testing processes to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications Development, PL/SQL.Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, 11i, WMS.
• Tools: FlexDeploy, Fisheye, Autosys, RunMyJobs, Wincvs, ServiceNow, Putty, Splunk, SQL Developer.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools relevant to Oracle environments.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective testing strategies.
• Familiarity with quality engineering principles and continuous integration processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in test automation.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Applications Development.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
