Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking a Test Automation Developer in Chennai with 4-6 years of QA and automation experience. You will lead automation framework development using Playwright and Selenium, and mentor a team of automation engineers, while driving AI-enabled testing initiatives.

You will collaborate across development, QA, and business teams in Agile settings, integrating with CI/CD and maintaining high standards for automation practices.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of QA/Automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Python.
• Experience with TestNG/PyTest, API automation (REST Assured/Postman), Git, Maven, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude, or similar.
• Experience building reusable automation frameworks and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
