Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong Python-based automation experience to advance our web and API testing capabilities from Hyderabad. You will implement scalable frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to improve quality and release speed.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab), plus a good understanding of Agile methods and SDLC.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for test automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for functional and regression automation.
• Web automation using Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab).

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in web test automation, CI/CD integration, and a solid understanding of modern testing practices. Experience in API and mobile automation testing will be considered an added advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands‑on expertise with Robot Framework for functional and regression automation.
• Solid experience in web automation using Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab .
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• API automation testing using Java.
• Experience testing REST and gRPC services.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Postman and RestAssured .
• Mobile application test automation using Python/Robot Framework.
• Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium .
• Exposure to Android and iOS test environments.
