Job summary

Siemens India in Pune is seeking an experienced Test Automation Architect to design and optimize automated testing frameworks aligned with business goals and system architecture. You will lead global teams, guide automation scope, timelines, and proposals, and mentor the test automation group to raise delivery quality.

The role requires 8–10 years in test automation, hands-on with at least two tools such as Selenium or Playwright or Worksoft Certify, and solid knowledge of UFT, Jenkins, and Git.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of test automation experience with framework design.
• Hands-on with two tools among Worksoft Certify, Selenium or Playwright.
• Solid understanding of UI, services, and database testing and test scripting.
• Experience with Jenkins and Git for CI/CD and version control.

• Design optimised test automation frameworks aligned with business requirements, architecture and delivery priorities.
• Advise partners on automation scope, tools, timelines, and proposals to support informed decisions.
• Lead global teams in aligning, developing, and delivering effective automated test cases.
• Manage and mentor the test automation team, providing technical guidance to improve delivery capability.
• Build new automation frameworks from scratch and enhance existing ones for reliability and scalability.
• Develop, verify, and solve test scripts across functional and non-functional testing scenarios.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to business and global partners.
• Analyse traces and logs to improve automation approaches and fix recurring issues.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including

• Bring 8–10 years of test automation experience, including designing and building optimised automation frameworks.
• Demonstrate hands‑on experience with at least two tools: Worksoft Certify, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Apply solid understanding of Micro Focus UFT, Jenkins, GIT, test scripting, verification, and solve.
• Understand application architecture across UI, services, and databases to design effective automation coverage.
• Analyse traces and logs from multiple tools to identify issues and support timely resolution.
• Coordinate independently across offshore, global, and European stakeholders while managing multiple priorities and tracking tasks.
• Apply a B.E., BTech, MCA, or equivalent qualification, supported by strong analytical, planning, problem‑solving, and learning capabilities.
