Macquarie Group is seeking a Test Analyst – Finance & Tax to support mid to large scale projects and BAU as a tester, focusing on financial reporting, regulatory reporting, capital and liquidity reporting. The Test Analyst –Finance & Tax is expected to support mid to large scale projects and BAU in capacity of a tester performing testing in line with the project strategy. The projects as per organization’s priorities will be around financial reporting, Regulatory Reporting obligations, Capital, & Liquidity reporting.
In this role you will be pivotal as you apply your testing experience in contributing towards upliftment and transformation initiatives, ensuring a seamless transition from the current state of BAU to the future state. The successful candidate would have demonstrated experience in testing, regulatory projects and be confident working across teams.

The role involves analysing business requirements and specifications to design effective test scenarios, test cases, and coverage plans with end-to-end traceability. It requires close collaboration with developers, SMEs, project managers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery and timely resolution of defects. The individual supports testing schedules, participates in defect triage, and presents sprint outcomes and demos to stakeholders. Additionally, they drive automation initiatives, embrace new testing technologies, and demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
