Job summary

Agarwal Industrial Corporation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Terminal Incharge to manage the Dighi terminal's day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, efficient handling, storage and dispatch of bitumen products. You will lead operational teams, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and statutory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills to drive seamless terminal operations, with a focus on continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in terminal operations, petroleum/bitumen logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
• Experience handling terminal operations independently preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, dispatch planning, and logistics coordination.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and operational compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bitumen industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end terminal operations, including receipt, storage, loading, and dispatch activities
• Lead and supervise terminal staff to ensure smooth daily operations and optimum productivity
• Plan and monitor dispatch schedules to ensure timely deliveries and efficient fleet coordination
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock reconciliation and operational reporting
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and statutory regulations
• Coordinate with transporters, customers, vendors, and internal teams for seamless operations
• Monitor terminal equipment, utilities, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce losses
• Ensure proper documentation, record maintenance, and audit readiness at all times

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Terminal Incharge to oversee the complete operations of our Dighi terminal.
