Job summary

Hish It Services is seeking an experienced Teradata Developer with 5-7 years of expertise in data warehousing and hands-on SQL and Teradata utilities. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions in a Teradata environment.

You will develop complex SQL queries, ETL processes with Teradata utilities, and work with large data warehouses to support reporting and analytics needs. Collaboration with analysts and data teams is essential to ensure data quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Teradata development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, MLOAD and TPT.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, SCDs).
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Good Unix/Linux scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience with data modeling concepts.
