We are seeking a highly skilled Teradata Engineer with strong expertise in database engineering, administration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in Teradata SQL, UNIX shell scripting, system performance tuning, and advanced database administration. This role requires working with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Teradata data warehouse solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, and window functions.
• Identify and manage indexing strategies, partitioning, and statistics management to ensure query efficiency.
• Develop, automate, and maintain ETL workflows and scripts using Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, FastExport).
• Build and maintain UNIX shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and manage system workloads using TASM (Teradata Active System Management) and Teradata Viewpoint.
• Backup and recovery management
• Disaster Recovery (DR) setup and testing
• User access control and security enforcement
