Job description

Work Experience: 8 Years in Inside Sales, Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation for EMEA Market (experience is an added advantage).

Job Description:

  1. Reps prospect over the phone, web, and email. Cold calling is an integral part of the job, with a requirement to make at least 60 cold calls daily within the assigned territory to generate leads for Linux & OVM support. Calls target VP and CXO level executives.
  2. Participate in weekly and quarterly forecasting with the Regional Manager.
  3. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle Linux & OVM offerings, competitive products, industry trends.
  4. Create demand for revenue opportunities, focusing on driving business to closure.
  5. Develop new accounts within specific industry verticals, identifying customer needs and proposing innovative solutions. Aim to penetrate accounts at the highest C-level executive contact possible.
  6. Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to develop relationships for team selling.
  7. Generate leads through product and area-specific campaigns.
  8. Display high energy, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment, capable of working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  9. Be self-motivated to expand product knowledge and selling skills.

The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle solutions and services via inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical. As a Telesales Business Development Representative, you will be the first contact for many prospects, qualifying Oracle prospects and generating quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Maintain database and records, demonstrate effective time management, and possess strong telesales skills and product knowledge (training provided). The role requires goal orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A working knowledge of Oracle products and a desire for a long-term career in sales are preferred. Two years of relevant business experience is also preferred.
