EY GDS TechOps in Pune (India) seeks an experienced SAP EWM professional to lead and manage global SAP EWM support on S/4HANA. You will drive incident resolution, change management, and complex integrations while mentoring a growing team.

The role requires 7+ years in SAP EWM, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of warehouse processes, inbound/outbound logistics, and SAP TM. It offers a challenging, on-site environment with global client exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related technology field or comparable experience.
7+ years in SAP EWM, preferably with global clients.
Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
Experience designing complex integrations, cloud apps, and security architectures.
Experience supporting SAP EWM incidents.
Experience analyzing incidents and delivering solutions.
Experience handling change requests and gathering requirements.
Proficient in business process mapping and end-user training.
Experience with offshore/onsite models.
Experience with defect resolution/analysis in EWM.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in time-critical environments.
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership.
Willingness to work shifts and be on call.
Deep understanding of inbound/outbound logistics and stock management.
Understanding of SAP TM.
Sourcing & Procurement processes knowledge.
SAP EWM certification is an optional qualification.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day SAP application management support as Level 2/3 specialist.
Lead resolution of complex issues and outages including root cause analysis.
Design and implement SAP EWM on S/4HANA to optimize warehouse operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and advise on designs.
Develop and maintain configuration docs, user guides, and test scripts.
Mentor junior SAP EWM team members and share best practices.
Monitor trends and SAP best practices to drive automation.
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure availability.
Work shifts according to client requirements.
Support global clients and collaborate with cross-functional EY GDS TechOps teams.

Job description

Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP applications through service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management, and problem management as a Level 2 or 3 specialist.
Lead and coordinate resolution of complex technical issues and system outages, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
Design and implement SAP EWM solutions on S/4HANA to optimize warehouse operations and supply chain efficiency.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and advise on SAP EWM solutions and designs.
Develop and maintain configuration documentation, user guides, and test scripts.
Mentor and train junior SAP EWM team members, sharing best practices and troubleshooting guidance.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and SAP best practices to drive automation and innovation.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support to ensure critical SAP system availability and reliability.
Work shift hours according to client requirements.
Support global clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams in EY GDS TechOps.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
7+ Years of experience required in one or more areas within SAP Extended Warehouse Management, preferably with Global client.
Experience leading, mentoring, and managing a team of developers.
Proven experience in designing complex integrations, cloud applications, and security architectures.
Experience providing support for SAP EWM module incidents.
Experience analyzing incidents and providing solutions.
Experience handling change requests and understanding new business requirements.
Proficient in business process mapping, configuration, and end-user training.
Experience with cross-functional communication and offshore/onsite model.
Experience in defect resolution and defect analysis related to EWM.
Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time-critical environment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Flexibility to work shifts and be on call for critical business requirements.
Deep understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, stock management, storage bin strategies, warehouse task optimization, and SAP integration.
Understanding of Transportation Management (SAP TM).
Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes.
SAP Certification in SAP EWM is listed as an additional qualification.
