Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a backend engineer in Kerala to enhance and scale AI-enabled workflows. You will design and maintain FastAPI REST APIs, implement multi-step LangGraph workflows, and optimize performance across distributed services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
• Strong Python fundamentals and code quality practices.
• Experience designing modular, performant code with profiling and debugging.
• Familiarity with virtual environments, dependency management, and unit testing.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL schema design.
• Proven track record building production APIs with FastAPI.
• Proficiency in async/await, Pydantic models, and token-based authentication.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, YAML, and container networking.
• Experience building multi-step LangGraph agent workflows with nodes/edges/state management.
• Ability to manage conversation state, context propagation, retries, and fallbacks.
• Strong debugging capability for agent failures and execution tracing.
