Job summary

Biopharma Careers is seeking a Senior Associate Business Performance to support project financial management for technology and data initiatives. You will partner with Project Managers to build budgets, forecast costs, and monitor performance.

You will lead cost reviews, monitor schedules, assess changes, and prepare governance reports, collaborating with Finance and cross-functional teams in a biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance.
• Working knowledge of Anaplan, Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Power BI, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor commitments, expenditures, and project spending.
• Review contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Lead monthly cost reviews and variance analysis.
• Support capital funding requests and financial approvals.
• Process accruals, reclassifications, and financial adjustments.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using approved scheduling tools.
• Analyze schedule performance, milestones, critical paths, and risks.
• Validate contractor schedules and identify potential delays.
• Support schedule recovery planning when required.
• Maintain project risk registers.
• Assess cost and schedule impacts of project changes.
• Ensure approved changes are accurately reflected in forecasts and reports.
• Prepare project controls reports covering cost, schedule, risks, and performance.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to project leadership.
• Ensure compliance with corporate project governance standards.
• Partner with Project Managers, Finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support communication and reporting across project teams.
