Program Governance: Establish and maintain organizational standards for program delivery, ensuring that technical excellence, security-by-design, and operational reliability are embedded in every project. Cloud-Native Evolution: Lead the transition from legacy monolithic systems to modern, cloud-native architectures (Microservices, Serverless, Containerization). Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud migrations and optimizations. Data Transformation Initiatives: Strategize and execute complex data engineering programs, including the implementation of real-time streaming pipelines, data lakehouse architectures, and large-scale data migrations to support AI/ML and analytics.
Operating Mechanisms: Establish and refine the "Rhythm of Business" (RoB) for the engineering organization, including monthly operational reviews, quarterly planning (OKRs), and executive status reporting. Resource & Capacity Modeling: Lead complex capacity planning exercises to ensure engineering talent is aligned with the highest-priority strategic initiatives. Agile Maturity: Acting as a "Coach of Coaches," elevating the maturity of Agile practices across distributed teams. Standardize Scrum frameworks while allowing for team-level autonomy. Ceremony Excellence: Supporting high-stakes ceremonies, including multi-team Big Room Planning, Scrum-of-Scrums, and AI-augmented Backlog Refinement sessions to identify cross-program dependencies. Incident Governance: Partner with SRE and DevOps teams to define and enforce Incident Management protocols. Oversee the lifecycle of critical (P0/P1) incidents, ensuring rapid restoration of services. Post-Mortem Culture: Enabling a "blame-free" post-mortem culture. Ensure that Root Cause Analysis (RCA) leads to actionable backlog items that prevent recurrence and improve system hardening.
Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, and Business Operations. Translate complex technical trade-offs into clear business risks and opportunities for executive leadership. Dependency Management: Proactively identify and resolve "hidden" bottlenecks across distributed teams. Manage complex interdependencies in multi-cloud and hybrid environments to ensure seamless integration. Vendor & SaaS Integration: Orchestrating the technical integration of third-party SaaS platforms and managed services, ensuring they meet internal security, performance, and data governance standards.
Systems Thinking: Partner with Architects to ensure program milestones align with technical standards. Provide "architectural judgment" to prevent technical debt and ensure scalability.
Advanced Risk Mitigation: Overseeing proactive risk management framework for zero non-compliance and/or overdues.
