Job summary

Equifax is inviting talent to join a dynamic software development team in Pune. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software, translating requirements into architecture and design while contributing to code reviews and open-source agile testing practices.

You will gain exposure to Cloud Platforms like AWS and GCP, and infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Docker, and related technologies, driving scalability and reliability across systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with graduation around June 2024.
• Experience or coursework in Java or Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience developing accessible technologies and writing high quality robust code.
• Experience in debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex production software.
• Knowledge of modern SDLC including CI/CD and ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Translate requirements into architecture and design.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.

• You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• You will translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• You will need extensive understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open source agile testing frameworks.

What experience you need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field (Graduation date June 2024)
• Experience or coursework in Java or Python or similar programming languages.

• You can write very high quality code that is robust and easy to maintain
• Experience in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software
• Detailed knowledge of modern software development life cycles including CI / CD
• You have the ability to operate across a broad and complex business unit with multiple stakeholders
