Job summary

The candidate should collaborate with business, functional, and IT teams on daily support incidents and project activities across geographies, taking a lead role in SAP MDM implementations.

This role demands applying IT standards, designing, building and testing business applications, and ensuring production systems reliability while meeting global SLAs and governance

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 5+ years of experience in Master Data Governance.
• SAP MDG experience, functional and technical skills.
• Knowledge of data models, derivations, validations.
• Experience with BRF+, ABAP, DDIC, reporting.
• Familiarity with Web Dynpro, FPM, BAPI/BADI, user exits.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies.

Job Summary (purpose):

Colgate-Palmolive is looking for an Expert in Master Data Management who will support the SAP Master Data Governance Initiatives.

The candidate should be comfortable to collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies. He shall be playing a lead role in Implementing the SAP MDM projects, Initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities


• Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve highly complex business processes and procedural problems


• Handle and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standards


• Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of IT standards and governance processes


• Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA


• Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to align with governance practices


• Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project


• Review program codes and suggest correction in case of any errors


• Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes


• Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can make valuable contributions to the business


• Mentor and coach junior developer resources

Required Qualifications:
