Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Pune seeks an SAP migration consultant to lead data mapping and transformation for ERP migrations. You will work across SAP MM/EWM/FIN/PP/PM/SD areas, bridging business and technical teams to ensure accurate migration specifications and successful data migration cycles.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP consulting, S/4HANA/R/3 expertise, and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and global teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an SAP MM/EWM/FIN/PP/PM/SD consulting role.
• Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and R/3.
• SAP domain knowledge with understanding of business transactions and configuration.
• ABAP knowledge is optional.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong data mapping, transformation rule definition, and migration specification experience.

Responsibilities

• Support migration entities with the set-up of the new process and data environment.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (SAP PP).
• Provide expertise in both technical and functional aspects of the project.
• Collaborate with data domain owners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Lead data mapping workshops with Business Types, local teams, and migration entities to define transformation rules.
• Translate functional business requirements into technically executable migration specifications for ETL and Data Migration teams.
• Act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and the technical migration team throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Assist the technical migration team with technical validations during migration cycles.
• Sophisticated data domain knowledge in Finance, Accounting or Logistics.

Your success is grounded in:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an SAP MM/EWM/FIN/PP/PM/SD consulting role.
• Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and R/3
• SAP (or Eco-system) domain knowledge required with understanding of both business transactions and underlying configuration set-up
• ABAP knowledge (optional)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation rule definition, and migration specification documentation
• Communication / Functional Consulting / Data Domain Expertise
