Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Pune seeks an experienced SAP consultant to support migration projects. The role focuses on SAP MM and related modules, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation, and migration documentation.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and the migration team, translating requirements into actionable specs and validating technical work throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP MM/EWM/FIN/PP/PM/SD consulting.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and SAP R/3.
• SAP domain knowledge covering business transactions and configuration.

Responsabilités

• Lead data migration projects with set-up of new process and data environment.
• Translate business requirements into technically executable migration specs (MDD) for ETL and data migration teams.
• Facilitate data mapping workshops with business types and local teams.
• Act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and the migration team.
• Assist migration team with technical validations during migration cycles.

You’ll make a difference by:

• TFCs support migration entities with the set-up of the new process and data environment.
• Provides expertise in both technical and functional aspects of the project.
• Works closely with data domain responsible to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Facilitate and lead data mapping workshops with Business Types, local teams, and migration entities to define transformation rules.
• Translate functional business requirements into technically executable migration specifications (documented in the MDD) for the ETL and Data Migration team members.
• Act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and the technical migration team throughout the migration lifecycle
• Assists technical migration team with technical validations during migration cycles.
• Sophisticated data domain knowledge (i.e. Finance, Accounting or Logistics)

Your success is grounded in:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Hands-on experience in SAP MM module (Procurement)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an SAP MM/EWM/FIN/PP/PM/SD consulting role.
• Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and R/3
• SAP (or Eco-system) domain knowledge required with understanding of both business transactions and underlying configuration set-up
• ABAP knowledge (optional)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation rule definition, and migration specification documentation
• Communication / Functional Consulting / Data Domain Expertise
