Job summary

Wissen Technology is hiring a Business Analyst with Payments expertise to translate high-level product requirements into detailed functional solutions, user stories, and payment workflow specifications.

You will collaborate with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable payment solutions from Pune in a Hybrid (4 Days WFO) setup; 5–7 years of Banking/FinTech BA experience is expected.

Strong SQL, APIs, and stakeholder management are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience in Banking, Payments, FinTech, or BFSI environments.
• Cross-Border Payments, Settlements, Accounting, Fund Checks, Statements, and Notifications domain expertise.
• Requirement gathering, BRD/FRD preparation, user story creation, and functional solution design experience.
• Strong understanding of Funding, Transfers, Settlement, Reconciliation, and transaction lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Experience with APIs, Jira, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Create user stories, BRDs, FRDs, business workflows, and functional specifications.
• Design functional solutions for payments and transaction banking platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams.
• Analyze APIs, payment flows, settlement processes, and reconciliation requirements.
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Support UAT, defect triage, and production readiness activities.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements through delivery.

JOB SUMMARY

Wissen Technology is hiring a Business Analyst with expertise in Payments and Transaction Banking to support product development and maintenance initiatives. The role requires converting high-level product requirements into detailed functional solutions, user stories, business requirements, and payment workflow specifications. The candidate will work closely with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable payment solutions.

EXPERIENCE, LOCATION, MODE OF WORK

Experience: 5-7 years

Location: Pune

Mode of Work: Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Notice Period: Immediate or serving notice

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience in Banking, Payments, FinTech, or BFSI environments


• Cross-Border Payments, Settlements, Accounting, Fund Checks, Statements, and Notifications domain expertise


• Requirement gathering, BRD/FRD preparation, user story creation, and functional solution design experience


• Strong understanding of Funding, Transfers, Settlement, Reconciliation, and transaction lifecycle management
