Role Overview
The Techno-Commercial Officer will be responsible for managing site-level compost production and the production of fermented organic manure (both powder and liquid forms). The role includes monitoring quality standards, obtaining necessary departmental approvals, liaising with relevant stakeholders, and coordinating client orders. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial skills, and operational efficiency.
- Compost & Organic Manure Production: Oversee the entire production process of compost and fermented organic manure (powder & liquid) at the site. Ensure adherence to established composting and fermentation techniques to achieve high-quality outputs. Optimize production processes to maximize yield and minimize waste.
- Quality Monitoring: Conduct regular quality checks and testing of compost and organic manure to meet industry and environmental standards. Maintain detailed records of quality assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to improve production consistency and ensure compliance with certifications and regulations.
- Departmental Approvals & Liaison: Obtain necessary approvals from internal and external departments for production, quality control, and compliance. Act as the primary liaison between production teams, regulatory bodies, and management for smooth operations. Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation to relevant departments.
- Client Order Coordination: Manage client orders, ensuring timely production and delivery of compost and organic manure. Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to meet client requirements efficiently. Address client feedback regarding product quality and delivery schedules.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all production activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production, quality control, and client interactions. Support audits and certifications related to compost and organic manure production.
- Process Optimization & Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Stay updated on advancements in composting and fermentation technologies and recommend their adoption. Develop innovative solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
