Job summary

Jacobs India is seeking a mid-senior experienced CAD and/or BIM Stormwater professional for the Aviation Drainage Team. Based in Mumbai, you will work with engineers to support proposals, planning, design and delivery, focusing on civil 3D, BIM and GIS integration.

The role requires 5+ years in design consulting, a related bachelor's, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT BIM and QGIS, with strong analytical skills and ability to mentor junior CAD engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a design consulting environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred; BIM/CAD software technical degree strongly desired.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT BIM and QGIS.
• Experience with file conversion and file management between multiple digital environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks.
• Assists junior CAD engineers.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and the design team to advance and complete a variety of project types.
• Produce conceptual and final construction design plans for utilities, grading, and stormwater.
• Produce preliminary and final drawings in accordance with company and client standards while advancing the use of 3D modeling along with project site grading surfacing within the design team.
• Coordinate with complimentary disciplines at a project level which may include members of the structural, electrical, mechanical, geometry, and architectural team.
• Assist and coordinate with team members on construction activities such as shop drawing review.
• Support design services during construction activities.
• Produce spreadsheets that summarize quantities and estimated unit costs.

We are looking for a qualified “mid-senior experienced CAD and/or BIM Stormwater experienced Aviation Drainage Team. This person will work alongside other talented individuals to support project teams on proposals, planning, design, and delivery tasks. The project delivery support ensures the best tools and systems framework are configured and deployed based on project requirements and company goals for innovation.
This is a full-time position, and this individual will be based in our Jacobs India office.

Here’s what you’ll need
