Jacobs India is seeking a mid-senior CAD/BIM Stormwater professional to support aviation drainage projects. You will lead design tasks, create concept and final plans for utilities, grading and stormwater, and produce 3D models and shop drawings while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in design consulting, with strong English communication and file-management skills. Based in our India office with office-based work.”

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT BIM and QGIS.
• Experience with file conversion and file management between multiple digital environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and the design team to advance and complete a variety of project types.
• Produce conceptual and final construction design plans for utilities, grading, and stormwater.
• Produce preliminary and final drawings in accordance with company and client standards while advancing 3D modeling and site grading surfacing.
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, mechanical, geometry, and architectural teams at project level.
• Assist and coordinate with team members on construction activities such as shop drawing review.
• Support design services during construction activities.
• Produce spreadsheets that summarize quantities and estimated unit costs.
• Proficient in QGIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD

We are looking for a qualified “mid-senior experienced CAD and/or BIM Stormwater” experienced Aviation Drainage Team. This person will work alongside other talented individuals to support project teams on proposals, planning, design, and delivery tasks. The project delivery support ensures the best tools and systems framework are configured and deployed based on project requirements and company goals for innovation.

This is a full‑time position, and this individual will be based in our Jacobs India office.

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Collaborate with engineers and the design team to advance and complete a variety of project types.
• Produce conceptual and final construction design plans for utilities, grading, and stormwater.
• Produce preliminary and final drawings in accordance with company and client standards while advancing the use of 3D modeling along with project site grading surfacing within the design team.
• Coordinate with complimentary disciplines at a project level which may include members of the structural, electrical, mechanical, geometry, and architectural team.
• Assist and coordinate with team members on construction activities such as shop drawing review.
• Support design services during construction activities.
• Produce spreadsheets that summarize quantities and estimated unit costs.
• Proficient in QGIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD

Here’s what you’ll need

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred along with technical degree in BIM/CAD software is strongly desired.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT BIM and QGIS.
• Experience with file conversion and file management between multiple digital environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks in a logical order.
• Assists junior CAD engineers.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
