Job summary

Fiery, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate with teams and drive software delivery across the SDLC, owning core modules and delivering high-quality solutions. You will design, code, test, debug, review code, and document complex software while ensuring timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, strong C++ knowledge, OS concepts, and experience with design patterns. The role supports a flexible, hybrid work setup in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• BTech in CS/IT/EC with 70% CGPA or above.
• 3–5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of C++, OS concepts, and design patterns.
• Experience in debugging on Windows and Linux; strong code review skills.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and mentor juniors.
• Proven ability to communicate, manage stakeholders, and work in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to deliver software following the SDLC process with focus on quality and timelines.
• Own modules or components of the project and contribute to design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to the software; apply best practices.

Job Description

Role and responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer: You will work collaboratively with the team to deliver on the software development requirements through the SDLC process, while ensuring high quality and adherence to the timelines Owns module/component of the entire project. Applies developed level of software engineering knowledge to assignments of a larger scope. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, Code Review and documents moderately complex software. Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in the software. Actively contribute towards applying best practices. Gain expertise in certain areas of the overall products and domain. Works with minimal guidance. Explains difficult issues. Communicate between different projects groups and customer interactions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Requirements:

Education Qualification: BTech in CS/IT/EC with 70% or CGPA 7

Experience: 3-5 Year of experience

Skills: (Technical & Behavioural skills)

• Good knowledge of C++
• Knows various design patterns, should have implemented at least few and should be able to discuss the pros and cons, mentoring juniors
• Good knowledge of OS concepts.
• Expertise in debugging windows or linux,
• Should be an excellent code reviewer and have the ability to simplify the complex problems
• Should be able to write technical documents
• Behavioural Skills: (like communication, stakeholder management, accountability, initiative, strategic orientation, learnability etc.)
