Fidelity International in Gurgaon, India seeks a Technical Specialist - Visualization to lead BI and analytics initiatives. You will own end-to-end dashboard development, semantic modeling, and secure governance for enterprise reporting.

This individual contributor role collaborates with a high-performing team and stakeholders across the business. The role requires 8+ years in BI, strong Power BI expertise, and deep knowledge of data storytelling, UX design, and scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BI, analytics, DW, viz, and enterprise reporting.
• 4-6 years hands-on Power BI delivering enterprise reports.
• Experience leading end-to-end BI implementations with governance.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong dashboard design, UX/UI, wireframing, prototyping, and data storytelling.
• Experience administering Power BI Service: Workspaces, Apps, Dataflows, Gateways, Deployment Pipelines.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience implementing BI security and governance: RLS, OLS, access management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end BI ecosystem including dashboards, governance, security, and deployments.
• Lead design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise dashboards and reports.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and reporting frameworks for intuitive data storytelling.
• Design scalable semantic models and dimensional data modeling.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and preparation using Power Query with Data Engineering teams.
• Build analytics pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, apps, semantic models, dataflows, gateways, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement enterprise security frameworks including RLS/OLS and governance controls.
• Monitor and optimize dashboard performance with DAX tuning and refresh strategies.
• Explore Power Platform capabilities to streamline processes and analytics.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Own BI deliverables, platform stability, stakeholder satisfaction.

About your Role

This role is for a Technical Specialist who can understand functional, technical requirements and has the ability to understand the implications associated with the chosen technical strategy well aligned with the business context. The successful candidate would carry out reporting/visualization development/enhancement and work with a high performing team in an individual contributor role to imlement BI and Analytical solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with all levels of the business and technical community.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end Business Intelligence and Analytics ecosystem, including dashboard development, workspace administration, governance, security, deployments, and ongoing platform support.
• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-scale dashboards, reports, scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Design dashboard wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and reporting frameworks to ensure intuitive user experience, stakeholder alignment, and effective data storytelling.
• Design and implement scalable semantic models using dimensional modeling techniques, ensuring consistency, maintainability, and optimal performance.
• Perform advanced data extraction, transformation, and preparation using Power Query (M Language) and collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build robust and scalable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and support end-to-end analytics data pipelines utilizing Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Power BI to enable reliable and scalable reporting solutions.
• Manage and govern Power BI Workspaces, Apps, Semantic Models, Dataflows, Gateways, and Deployment Pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement and manage enterprise-grade security frameworks including Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), workspace access management, data privacy, compliance requirements, and governance controls.
• Monitor and optimize dashboard, dataset, and semantic model performance using model optimization, DAX tuning, aggregation strategies, refresh optimization, and capacity management best practices.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Power Platform capabilities (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) to streamline business processes, automate workflows, and deliver integrated analytics-driven solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, establish development best practices, and mentor junior developers and analysts to improve overall team capability and delivery quality.
• Take full ownership and accountability for BI deliverables, platform stability, stakeholder satisfaction, and successful execution of enterprise analytics initiatives.

About you

Essential Skills are:

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Visualization, and Enterprise Reporting solutions.
• Minimum 4-6 years of hands‑on experience with Power BI, delivering enterprise‑scale reporting and analytics solutions.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end BI implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, deployment, governance, and production support.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of dashboard design, UX/UI principles, wireframing, prototyping, and data storytelling.
• Hands‑on experience administering Power BI Service, including Workspaces, Apps, Semantic Models, Dataflows, Gateways, Deployment Pipelines, Capacity, and Refresh Management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience implementing BI security and governance controls, including RLS, OLS, workspace security, data privacy, compliance, and access management.
• Expertise in dashboard, dataset, and semantic model performance optimization using DAX tuning, model optimization, aggregations, Performance Analyzer, and refresh optimization techniques.
