Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Production Planner/Engineer to support planning and execution of manufacturing projects in Bangalore. The role focuses on BOM management, ERP workflows, and close collaboration with manufacturing, logistics, and production control teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate activities from planning to implemention; maintain process-improvement matrices.
• Coordinate project schedule and task details; prepare reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
• Align resources to meet on-time, budget objectives; monitor project cost for internal and external customers.
• Interface with suppliers and report on progress against quality and cost metrics.
• Support project managers with SRDs, system configurations, and BOM modifications with Config engineer input.
• Track project plans and coordinate scheduled updates from order to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Helps to prepare project plan and coordinates project activities from planning to implementation. Maintain matrix for process improvements.
• Coordinates project schedule and task details and helps to prepare reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling.
• Helps to align the progress of resources internal to the business unit to meet project on-time and budget performance objectives.
• Tracks projects cost schedule for internal and external customers.
• On occasion will interface with external suppliers and monitor and report on the projects progress against quality and cost metrics.
• Interfaces with internal customers and reports on progress against project objectives.
• Handling system RCTD date & shipment revised dates. Monitors ESW implementations and sending delivery notes. Monitors shipping systems. Administrative work for SRDs and other tasks to support for Project managers. Accept configuration by Ops (PST turned to 'Config Frozen'). work with Config engineer to modify the system BOM based on CRF.
• Working with BMO to SRD request and update the system configuration. Managing from sales order creation to system shipment. Helps to tracking the project plan and coordinates scheduled updates.
• Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
• ECM / ECR / CCR process knowledge. Concept of Bill of Material, Product Structure & Configuration.
• Working closely with MFG operations, Logistics and Production control planner etc...

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a proactive learning attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Teamcenter (TcE) and UG NX will be an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in a Production Planning, Manufacturing, or Engineering environment, with exposure to BOM management and ERP systems.
