Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of AI/ML/Generative AI and enterprise app development projects.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Manage Fixed Price and T&M projects, including estimation, milestones, effort tracking, billing, utilization, margins, and change requests.
• Work closely with AI architects, data scientists, engineering teams, business analysts, and client stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into project plans, deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive regular project governance through status reviews, executive dashboards, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify and manage risks related to scope, data readiness, model performance, security, compliance, dependencies, and resource availability.
• Manage client expectations, delivery escalations, and scope changes while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure effective coordination across delivery, sales, presales, finance, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Support project estimation, proposal preparation, resource planning, and transition from presales to delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of AI-led technology projects. The candidate must have recently managed AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science projects and should have prior experience delivering enterprise application development projects using .NET or Java technologies.

The role requires strong experience managing Fixed Price and Time & Material engagements, preferably for clients in the Banking and Financial Services domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of AI, ML, Generative AI, and enterprise application development projects.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Manage Fixed Price and T&M projects, including estimation, milestone planning, effort tracking, billing, utilization, margins, and change requests.
• Work closely with AI architects, data scientists, engineering teams, business analysts, and client stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into project plans, deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive regular project governance through status reviews, executive dashboards, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify and manage risks related to scope, data readiness, model performance, security, compliance, dependencies, and resource availability.

Required Experience and Skills

• 12-15 years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in project and delivery management.
• Must have recently led one or more AI, ML, Generative AI, Data Science, or intelligent automation projects.
• Prior experience managing enterprise application development projects using either .NET or Java technologies is mandatory.
• Strong experience managing both Fixed Price and T&M engagements.
• Experience owning project financials, including budgets, billing, revenue, margins, utilization, and forecasts.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG, APIs, cloud platforms, data engineering, and MLOps.
• Experience managing technology or AI projects in the Banking and Financial Services domain is strongly preferred. Exposure to areas such as Digital Banking, Lending, Payments, Risk, Fraud Detection, AML/KYC, Customer Analytics, or Process Automation would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent client-facing, stakeholder-management, negotiation, and escalation-management skills.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools.
