About the Role

Swadesh Mobile is looking for an experienced Technical Project Head to lead the development, audit, and scaling of its UCaaS/CCaaS platform. The ideal candidate must have a strong telecom software development background with hands‑on experience in VoIP, SIP, Cloud PBX, or Contact Center solutions.

This role requires complete technical ownership, from platform architecture and team leadership to production deployment and product readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a complete technical audit of the existing UCaaS/CCaaS platform, identifying architecture, security, scalability, and performance gaps.

• Define technical strategy, product roadmap, architecture, and development priorities.

• Lead backend, frontend, telecom, DevOps, and QA teams; assign tasks and review code, architecture, and deliverables.

• Oversee development of Cloud PBX, SIP/VoIP, IVR, ACD, call routing, dialers, call recording, agent management, reporting, and omnichannel features.

• Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues while ensuring platform stability, security, and scalability.

• Manage development timelines, testing, documentation, releases, and production deployments.

• Work with management to align product features with enterprise, BPO, and call center requirements.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in SIP, SIP Trunking, RTP, WebRTC, SBC, SIP Proxy, Media Servers, DID, CDR, and call routing.

• Experience with UCaaS, CCaaS, Cloud PBX, VoIP, or Contact Center platform architecture.

• Familiarity with FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, RTPengine, Node.js, Python, PHP, React, Redis, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

• Understanding of high availability, failover, load balancing, carrier interconnection, telecom APIs, and system scalability.

• AI Voice Agents, Speech-to-Text, Call Transcription, Agent Assist, and LLM integrations are an added advantage.

Candidate Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant telecom software development experience; preference for 10–15+ years.
• Previous experience as a UCaaS/CCaaS Architect, VoIP Architect, Telecom Engineering Manager, or Head of Engineering.
• Proven experience building, architecting, or managing commercial telecom software products.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, team management, and product ownership skills.

Mandatory: Direct telecom software / UCaaS / CCaaS / VoIP industry experience. Candidates from general software development or project management without telecom expertise are not suitable.

First 90-Day Expectations

• First 30 Days: Audit platform, architecture, code, infrastructure, and team.

• Days 31–60: Finalize technical roadmap, architecture, development priorities, and standards

• Days 61–90: Deliver critical improvements, stabilize the platform, and prepare for commercial deployment.

Core Expectation: Take complete technical ownership of the UCaaS/CCaaS platform, lead the development team, and drive the product toward a scalable, secure, and commercially ready solution.
